Work with chiefs to enhance child protection, State told

PANOS Institute Southern Africa (PSAf) has called on Government to work with traditional leaders in rural areas to enhance child protection systems in Zambia.
Speaking during a stakeholders’ consultative forum on child protection in Mpika, PSAf senior programme officer for media development and ICT’s Gillies Kasongo said there is need to support rural-based child protection interventions to secure a bright future for children.
Mr Kasongo said there is need to “enhance coordination among various key stakeholders”.READ MORE
