THE Global Banking Alliance for women (GBA) All Stars Academy which has been running this week in Livingstone is a skill-building programme aimed at increasing the capabilities of the financial services community targeting women.
According to a statement issued by FSD Zambia senior communications officer Nkatya Kabwe, experienced guest lecturers from GBA best practice members of Chase Bank of Kenya, BLC Bank of Lebanon and Westpac of Australia, and Gender Finance experts from the International Finance Corporation were featured.
The meeting, which saw 60 participants from 20 countries come together, runs from June 19 to 22.
“The programme’s practical, interaction approach will help participants to truly understand the power of the female economy, and how to develop and implement an effective women’s market programme that can capture it,” he said.
