Wina donates for new church


VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina has pledged K20,000 and 200 pockets of cement for the construction of the Ndeke United Church of Zambia

in Ndola.
Copperbelt Minister Bowman Lusambo delivered the message on behalf of Mrs Wina yesterday during a fund-raising church service. Construction of the church will cost about K1.8 million
“As politicians who have been mandated to lead this nation, we shall always look to the Church for prayers in order that God may grant us humility, knowledge and the necessary wisdom to help the people,” Mr Lusambo said.
Mr Lusambo said he is humbled to have been assigned to represent Mrs Wina at the fund-raising function.
And Reverend Achran Sinkala said the fund-raising committee has so far raised K240,000 and paid the contractor for phase one of the construction works which are at slab level.
