CHEWA hip-hop and dancehall artiste Willz Nyopole has released a new trap/hip-hop song titled Bwetu Bwetu off his forthcoming
album Umoyo Wa Willy, which is scheduled to be launched this September.
The song, a follow-up on Theresa, was produced by Loud House Entertainment and features Crystall Ball Entertainment‘s Mic Burner and rapper Bobby East from the XYZ Entertainment stable.
The song is characterised by ChiChewa rhythms and rhymes that are seasoned by Mic Burner’s dancehall while rapper Bobby East showered the song with some kind of rough rap.
In the song, Willz is urging people to walk the talk. He says certain people only talk but do not act according to what they say.
“Some people just talk and end there, in the song, am warning people not only to talk but work hard as well in order to produce results,” he says.
He told the Weekend Mail in Lusaka that Bwetu Bwetu is merely preparing his fans for his upcoming launch which will unveil all the songs on his album.
“Releasing this song feels good, after all the hard work, I know my fans will like it because I featured artistes that have a following,” he said.
“Working with Bobby and Mic was really amazing; these two are talented in different ways, as an artiste it is very important to learn from your fellow artiste, like that, we create relationships in the industry.”
Willz, who is promising good songs on his forthcoming project, broke through on the local music in 2014 when he released the single Toliwe, which features songbird Wezi. He is already an award-winner.
