Willie out to promote ‘Jehovah Nissi’

STAFRANCE ZULU, Ndola
GOSPEL musician Willie, who recently launched his debut album titled Jehovah Nissi, has turned his attention to promoting the eight-track project.
The artiste, who has been in the industry for close to a decade, wants to market his album through a countrywide tour.
The album has songs like Pa Lupanda, Mulibacishinka, Aneba Nkambo, Yesu Kumbukilani, Imwe Mwe Lesa and the title-track. Imwe Mwe Lesa and the title-track were released sometime back.
The 31-year-old, who launched his singing career in church 10 years ago, will embark on an inter-town tour to promote the album, which was produced by Mulenga Chishimba of Mission Press.
Willie launched his album last month at Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church, which is situated at the BBC One Collection building in Ndola.
He says he was happy with the album launch as it exceeded his expectations.
Since the launch, he has staged two shows and is happy with the way things are going.
Willie says he owes it to the likes of Kings Malembe Malembe, Papa Bruno and Pilato for the support they rendered to him during the launch of his album.
His immediate focus now is to shoot some videos and stage a concert at Broadway Cinemas in Ndola, which will feature the likes of Ephraim and Chifundo
