William McDowell concert on today

INTERNATIONAL gospel artiste, William McDowell is today expected to perform live in the Showgrounds in Lusaka.
The American artiste will take gospel lovers and worshippers through ‘Unstoppable Praise’ which is the theme selected for the event that is a brainchild of the Mount Zion Christian Centre in collaboration with other churches and organisations in Zambia.
McDowell will be supported by local gospel artistes such as Rachel Nanyangwe, MC Wambwino, Christine, Pompi and Esther Chungu.
Unstoppable Praise is being dubbed an interdenominational gospel concert and organisers say it is a statement of intent and purpose to show that their praise and worship of God is unconditional and cannot be hindered by anything or anyone.
McDowell’s heart for God has captivated the hearts of worshippers across the world and his voice has led many of his generation to rise up in strength, might and humility for the kingdom of God.
His songs are well known globally as they have become anthems of worship for many people. His love for God is evident in his singing as his messages and prophetic declarations are delivered when he ministers.
McDowell’s online biography describes him as a recipient of numerous music industry accolades. He is also said to have a clear understanding of the need to glorify God and does not take all of his success, notoriety and influence for granted.
“He knows that ushering people into God’s presence and being a mouthpiece for God comes with a huge responsibility and honours this by pouring into minister and worship leaders of the next generation,” his biography reads in part.
The American artiste is married to La Tae and the two have three children.
The event is free for all in Lusaka who want to be part of a transforming time in the presence of God.
