Where’s The Proof in ‘Pushing Failure’?

AFTER releasing Follow Follow, a song that has done fairly well on the airwaves, dancehall gospel singer The Proof has released a new song titled Pushing Failure, which is also the title-track of his forthcoming album that has been produced by Solomon Plate from Mag44’s Radio Café.

In the song, the artiste talks about the spirit of failure that has led a lot of people being trapped in poverty. In this dancehall song, The Proof encourages people to work hard and push away failure, a spirit that is blocking people’s destines.

The Proof told the Weekend Mail that the song was written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and it is a good song to send out motivation messages during this festival season.
“Many people think failure is the dead end and many don’t rise up from their fall because they are beaten by it [failure],” he said. “This has been burning in my heart and I thought bringing out the message through music will help out.”
The Proof says that he wrote the song because he is passionate about music that has the power to inform, inspire and motivate people.
“Through the song, I am simply saying it’s high time for us to rise above our past failures and focus on working on the present and the future,” he explained.
Meanwhile, The Proof says he is also working on some songs to be added to his Pushing Failure album and that the videos of some of the songs will be out soon.
“I believe my album will impact many lives because it is an inspiration from the Holy Spirit,” he says. “I also want to thank my fans for the support that I have been receiving.”
The Proof (Jonathan Sinyangwe) joined the music industry in 2008 but only came to be widely known to the public last year after releasing hid debut album The Proof.
