THE ‘Keep Zambia clean and healthy’ campaign, which was spearheaded by former minister of Local Government and Housing, Sylvia
Masebo, has seemingly died a natural death.
These campaigns came with a lot of sensitisation in all towns and compounds. City councils also did a commendable job to collect the garbage and sweeping the roads in all town centres.
Things have changed now. It’s like ‘Keep Zambia dirty and filthy’.
Let’s stop the habit of throwing litter anyhow.
Lastly, it’s time to work hand in hand with our councils.
