West roads rehabs on

DEPUTY Minister of Works and Supply Mutaba Mwali yesterday told Parliament that Government has commenced rehabilitation and maintenance, 230 kilometres of feeder roads in Western Province.
Dr Mwali said the programme is country-wide and 10,000 kilometres of rural roads have been earmarked for rehabilitation and maintenance.
Dr Mwali was responding to a question by Kalabo Central member of Parliament Chinga Miyutu (UPND), who wanted to know whether Government has plans to rehabilitate rural roads across the country.
Mr Miyutu also wanted to know if Government has plans to upgrade any roads in Western Province to bituminous standard.
