WITH activities of the University of Zambia Students Union (UNZASU) having been outlawed for sometime, few UNZA students could remember when they last held a gig to welcome new students.
They call the gig the Freshers’ Bash.
Well, it returned last week.
Unsurprisingly, the Sports Hall at UNZA Great East Road campus was full. It was bound to: Slap D, Macky II, Chef 187, Bobby East, Kantu, Kekero, Kaladoshas and 408 Empire were all billed to perform.
“It’s been long since UNZA hosted a successful bash for the freshers. Sometimes artistes don’t show up, which causes commotion among students,” one of the organisers Thomson Lungu said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
