Water project leaves no-one behind

THE US$449 million Kafulafuta water supply project in Masaiti district is Government’s desire to increase access to clean water and sanitation in line with the Vision 2030, President Edgar Lungu has said.
Speaking when he launched the project yesterday, President Lungu assured of Government’s continued investment in the water sector to address the effects of climate change.
The project will produce 125 million cubic metres of water.
“This project is timely and it aims at improving water supply in Ndola and the surrounding towns of Luanshya, Masaiti and part of Mpongwe,” he said.
