Warriors ‘electrocute’ Zesco, go top

KABWE Warriors on Saturday reclaimed leadership of Division One (South) when they thrashed Zesco Shockers in a Week 13 match at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium.
Prior to the match, Warriors were trailing Lusaka Tigers on goal difference but thanks to the latter who dropped points in Livingstone.
Dick Ngwenya, Paul Simpemba and Lameck Kafwaya contributed a goal apiece as ‘Magnificent’ Warriors moved to 32 points, three better than Tigers.
Tigers lost 1-2 to Livingstone Pirates.
Third-placed Nampundwe, who battled to a barren draw with Lusaka City Council in Mumbwa, have 25 points, two ahead of Prisons Leopards, who also drew 0-0 with Katete Rangers.

13 match at Arthur Davies Stadium annex pitch in Kitwe.
Striker Ryan Belington scored the solitary goal in the 37th minute to
condemn his former club to defeat.
The victory pushed Kalulushi to 26 points, one better than second-placed Lumwana Radiants who thumped Kitwe United 3-1 in Solwezi.
Lumwana have 25 points.
Real Nakonde winning streak continued with a 1-0 victory over Ndola United to move to 23 points.
