Warning freezes DC’s visit to possessed pupils

CATHERINE MUMBA, Choma
SIAVONGA District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has been advised not to visit Chimata village where 15 pupils recently acted strangely and claimed they were hearing voices calling their names, because it is not safe.
The village is said to be a no-go area because of alleged witchcraft.
The pupils of Chief Sinadambwe’s area were brought back to their senses after intense prayers but the local traditional and government leadership is still concerned.
The children, of different schools and in grades between 7 and 9, suddenly started running around the village like possessed people.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
