NKANA striker Walter Bwalya is on the verge of joining Algerian top side Mouludia Club of Algiers (MCA) on a season-long deal reportedly to be around US$200,000.
According to sportrdc.com, Algerian press reports that MCA president Kamel Kaci wants a permanent transfer for the 2016 Super Division top-scorer but faces resistance from Nkana.
Bwalya, who is already in Algeria, was expected to tour the club’s facilities yesterday.
But Nkana chief executive officer Ken Mwansa said in Lusaka yesterday that as far as the club is concerned, Bwalya is on holiday in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
