Voters should reject pro-violent parties – Muslims

VIOLENCE being perpetrated by some opposition political parties should inspire Zambians to maintain the Patriotic Front (PF) in Government, says the Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ).
ISCZ president Suzgo Zimba said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that the Muslim community in Zambia prayed for peaceful campaigns during the just-ended Ramadan period.
Mr Zimba said the council is concerned about pockets of political violence in the run-up to the August 11 general elections and that the opposition political parties are not addressing tangible issues.READ MORE
