STAFF REPORTERS, Lusaka
THERE was voter apathy in the eagerly anticipated first executive mayoral by-election in Lusaka with most polling stations recording below 20 percent turnout.President Edgar Lungu, who cast his vote at Andrew Mwenya Polling Station in Chawama, expressed disappointment with the low voter turnout for elections that were peaceful.
Some electorate, who woke up early to cast their ballot, including former President Rupiah Banda, were equally concerned about the poor turnout that has not been recorded in many years.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
