PATRIOTIC Front (PF) aspiring mayor for Ndola Amon Chisenga has urged residents to vote ‘yes’ in a referendum as the country draws close to elections next month.
Mr Chisenga, who expressed concern at some opposition party leaders misleading the people on the Bill of Rights, particularly on homosexuality and gayism, said the Constitution is clear on the matter.
“What I am concerned about is that people are being misled by the opposition that when you allow these rights, it means you are allowing homosexuality and gayism. The Constitution is straight-forward and provides that the same Bill of Rights provides that anyone who is 19 years old and above is allowed to marry the opposite sex,†he said.READ MORE
