I WAS alarmed at the levels of political violence in Lundazi and Sesheke recently.
It is sad to note that 54 years after independence, parties have not changed the way they do politics.
What is disturbing is that it is the young and vulnerable people who are used to carry out violent acts.
They are still being used as tools of violence despite the act being condemned by peace-loving and progressive Zambians.
Violence has the potential to negatively affect the outcome of an electoral process.
There is no justification for any violence, including political violence.
It is time that perpetrators of this disturbing trend were dealt with once and for all.
