Value addition to spur Zambia’s development

VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina says Government has prioritised economic diversification with emphasis on value addition, especially to primary agricultural products.
And Mrs Wina says the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) Zambia Country Programming Framework (CPF) is a direct response to Government’s plans to create real growth in a well linked and coordinated economy focusing on sectors that offer the most comparative and competitive advantages.
Mrs Wina said the agriculture sector has the highest potential not only for wealth and job creation, but also for enhancing the country’s transformational industrialisation agenda.READ MORE
