UPND plot exposed

MINISTER of Local Government and Housing Stephen Kampyongo says United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema has allegedly been plotting with some council principal officers to influence the change of the leadership of the Society of Local Authorities’ Chief Executives (SOLACE).
And Mr Kampyongo has dismissed as false allegations by The Post newspaper that he and his permanent secretary Amos Malupenga were plotting how to rig the August 11 elections with council chief executives.
Mr Kampyongo said Mr Hichilema has allegedly been plotting with some council secretaries and town clerks to effect change of leaders in SOLACE because they have been accused of being sympathetic to the government and the Patriotic Front (PF).READ MORE
