UPND leader chooses to be mute

HICHILEMA

NKOLE MULAMBIA, Ndola
UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema now faces arrest after being warned and cautioned by police yesterday.
This was after Mr Hichilema was interrogated for allegedly inciting people in Kitwe to riot by announcing on radio that Government had sold the Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) to the Chinese.
And 18 suspected UPND cadres have been apprehended and charged with conduct likely to cause the breach of peace.
The UPND leader, who arrived at Ndola Central Police around 09:00 hours, was questioned for close to four hours, but he opted to remain silent.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
