UGANDAN International Master (IM) Arthur Ssegwanyi says Grand Masters (GMs) competing at the Henry Chilufya Memorial Chess Championship should brace for a torrid time because he is equal to the task.
Ssegwanyi said in an interview on arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka yesterday that the tournament will be competitive.
“I feel honoured to be here. This is the most difficult tournament ever to be hosted in Africa looking at the calibre of players in the GM norm section. My target is not to play below my current rating, this is the biggest opportunity for us and I aim to play well,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
