Trucks travelling in convoys are a danger

Dear editor,
IT IS good that Government has banned night travel by public passenger vehicles between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours.
However, Government should also ensure that our roads are regularly maintained so that there are no potholes, bumps and the roads should not be slippery.
Road signs must be very clear all the time.
Coming to trucks, I think truckers should be discouraged from travelling in a convoy because they are difficult to overtake, thereby slow down traffic.
This causes tension among impatient drivers and this has contributed to road carnage by those who have attempted to overtake several trucks at the same time.
When truckers realise they have caused congestion, they should exercise the option of parking at laybys to allow traffic to flow and continue their journey later.
