CHIEF Sinadambwe of the Tonga people in Southern Province has urged the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) to consider transferring some politically-charged staff at Siavonga District Council for frustrating smooth implementation of Government’s programmes.

Chief Sinadambwe said in an interview that there is a lot of politicking at Siavonga District Council which has adversely affected implementation of development projects aimed at improving the socio-economic welfare of the local people.
He said the United Party for National Development (UPND), which is at the centre of administrative flaws at the named local authority, cannot help his subjects without the support of the governing Patriotic Front (PF) government.
