Traffic police hide-outs

Dear editor,
I WISH to find out from the Zambia Police Service command whether the conduct by police traffic officers to take cover in the bush, in drainages or tunnels or indeed under trees as they discharge their duties of mounting speed traps is part of their curriculum.

The police should not always use speed traps and road blocks as a way to punish motorists but rather take it as an opportunity to educate them.
On their part, they should also ensure that all roads have road signage for speed limits.
CONCERNED MOTORIST
