I AM a German with deep interest in Zambia. So many times, I talked to responsible persons at the Ministry of Arts and Tourism, including former Minister Sylvia Masebo, that the biggest market for tourism are the German-speaking countries.

The biggest tourism fairs worldwide are held in Germany, and Zambia is absent from them.

There is not a single tourism brochure or catalogue in German language but only in English. German is the most spoken mother language in Europe and not English.
