KITWE District Commissioner Binwell Mpundu is disappointed that unknown people have vandalised windows of the newly- built Kamakonde Police Post.
Mr Mpundu said in an interview yesterday that it is disheartening that ‘enemies of progress’ decided to frustrate Government’s efforts to open the police post, which has not been functional for three years.
The police post was built using money from the Constituency Development Fund over three years ago but it has never been opened for public use due to lack of furniture and water.
However, the Chinese community in Kitwe recently sank a borehole at the facility while another well-wisher pledged to furnish it http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
