A 16-YEAR-OLD is in court facing two charges of murder and arson after being accused of killing his 84-year-old grandfather and later setting his house ablaze in an attempt to cover up the crime. A police officer has testified how she found a burnt body of a man lying dead in Lufwanyama with a broken skull and arm suspected to have been murdered by his grandson.
This is said to have happened in August 2020 when Peter Kamaloni, 84, was allegedly murdered. Linda Chilufya, who is a scenes of crime officer, testified that she was on the fateful day assigned to take photographic images of the incident which led to Mr Kamaloni’s death.
