GOVERNMENT has awarded public service teachers a salary increment of between 4.3 percent and 19.4 percent.

Mr Nkoshya said this at a briefing, shortly after signing the collective agreement between Government and Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia (BETUZ), Professional Teachers Union of Zambia (PROTUZ), Secondary Education Teachers Union of Zambia (SESTUZ) and Zambia National Teachers Union (ZNUT).
And unions team leader Cosmas Mukuka said government and the unions have agreed that there will be harmonisation of salaries.
