Taxi driver’s car stolen

SUSPECTED criminals have stolen a vehicle from a taxi driver of Chimwemwe township in Kitwe who fell asleep after they allegedly offered him a drink laced with a drug.

She identified the taxi driver as Thomas Chitende of house number 6414.
Ms Kasosa said Mr Chitende was hired by two suspects only identified as Gift and Kakoma from Nakadoli to Garneton.

She said the suspects got away with a Toyota Raum registration number ADC 1142 worth K23, 000.
