ZAWA embarks on safari tour guides training

THE Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) has started training the first batch of 25 youths as safari tour guides at its Nyamaluma Training Institute in the Lupande Game Management Area (GMA) in Eastern Province.
ZAWA communications and public relations officer Mwila Muliyunda said in a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday that the 25 youths will be trained in wildlife skills.

Bell Equipment Zambia to invest in Chembe Bird Sanctuary

KALULUSHI district commissioner Kampamba Mulenga says Bell Equipment Zambia Limited has expressed interest to invest in the development of Chembe Bird Sanctuary.
The Chembe Bird Sanctuary is an area of Miombo woodland and grassland covering about 450 hectares, situated around a small lake, famous for its varied birdlife.
