MOZAMBIQUE’s port of Beira has long been overshadowed by Durban in South Africa, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Walvis Bay in Namibia.
Zambia and some of her neighbours such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi and Zimbabwe have relied mainly on Durban, Dar es Salaam and Walvis Bay ports. (more…)

ESTHER MSETEKA, Lusaka
THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), in partnership with the European Union (EU), has introduced a self-certification electronic system for exporters to the EU market at a cost of K150,000.
