Suspected ARV thieves nabbed in Lukulu

POLICE in Lukulu district of Western Province have arrested two people for being found in possession of medicines believed to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained.
In a statement availed to the Sunday Mail yesterday, North-Western Province police commissioner Auxensio Daka identified the two as Rodgers Nyambe, 27, a health worker at Watopa rural health centre in Lukulu district, and David Mukombo, also 27, a businessman of Kabompo district.
They were found with 11 boxes of antiretroviral drugs (ARV) tablets, 20 sachets of coatem tablets, five boxes of family planning pills, one box of surgical grooves, one bottle of albendazole, one bottle of ferrous, 14 drip lines and two bottles of drip water.
And the Drug Enforcement Commission in Lusaka has arrested Anthony Mutwalo Tembo, 29, an accountant of Lusaka, for money laundering involving over K200,000.
