THE 2019 MTN Super Division is likely to start in January in compliance with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) directive.
CAF has ratified reforms to the continent’s club competitions which will run from November 27 to May 2019.
“We must first of all know that we as the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) also fall under CAF and FIFA and we have to oblige to the directives of these organisations. CAF has insisted and is breathing on our neck that our league should be in conformity to their CAF league,” FAZ vice-president Rix Mweemba told journalists in Mazabuka on Saturday.
