DEFENDER Stopilla Sunzu, midfielder Nathan Sinkala and strikers Jacob Mulenga and Emmanuel Mayuka have joined the national team ahead of Saturday’s 2015 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
Another player who has joined the team, which is camped at Kitwe’s Moba Hotel, is Israel-based defender Emmanuel Mbola.
In an interview yesterday after a morning training session at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe, coach Honour Janza said the100 percent turn-out demonstrates the players’ commitment and seriousness to national duty.
Janza, who started his reign as Chipolopolo coach with a 3-1 victory over Sudan in last Sunday’s international friendly at Lusaka’s Heroes National Stadium, is expecting all the players to put in their best in training.
“It is good to see everyone in. I would like to thank the boys for turning up on time. It shows the commitment, passion, seriousness and respect players have for the Zambian people. Everybody is looking good in training but the most important thing is to see real action on Saturday,†he said.
