Sundowns loan Mukuka to Celtic

By VICTOR KUMWENDA MAMELODI Sundowns have loaned Zambia international Mukuka Mulenga to another South Africa’s Absa premiership side Bloemfontein Celtic. Mukuka’s Sundowns teammate Musa Nyatama has also moved to Celtic on loan. According to Goal.com, Mukuka and Nyatama were not part of the ‘Brazilians’ immediate plans as they were left out of the roster for the 2014/15 season. Midfielder Mukuka has struggled with a knee injury since joining Sundowns last year. “Musa Nyatama and Mukuka Mulenga join Bloemfontein Celtic. Both on loan deals,” the Celtic official twitter account tweeted on Thursday morning. The former Power Dynamos and Kabwe Warriors midfielder joins Chipolopolo defender Davies Nkausu at Celtic. According to the latest Premier Soccer League registration list, Sundowns have only registered three foreigners – Mame Niang, Cuthbert Malajila and Kudakwashe Mahachi. Zambia goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is considered a South African resident. Chipolopolo defender Hichani Himoonde is also expected to be loaned to an unnamed premiership side. Himoonde joined Sundowns in January this year from Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe.
