Mbesuma brace secures Chiefs three points

JOHANNESBURG - Forceful Kaizer Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma passed a late fitness test and then guided his club to the second position on the Premier Soccer League table after Amakosi beat Moroka Swallows 2-0 at the FNB Stadium yesterday.

Mbesuma scored both goals as Chiefs turned up the heat on title rivals, Orlando Pirates.  (Full story)

CHAMBISHI Blackburn routed National Assembly to move into joint second place with Power Dynamos on the league table with international Davies Mwape scoring a brace in this enthralling game at Chambishi ground in Kalulushi.

Former junior international Nephias Banda produced a sublime strike to put Assembly ahead on the hour mark but Chambishi’s Bobton Chola levelled with a powerful volley when he rounded goalkeeper Yusuf Lumu before putting the ball into the far right side of the net.  (Full story)
