THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has arrested two Mulungushi University students for allegedly trafficking in cannabis.
DEC public relations officer Theresa Katongo said in a statement yesterday that the two students were allegedly found in possession of the cannabis at the institution.
Ms Katongo named the suspects as Ndambo Chinda, 22, who was allegedly found with 43 muffins containing cannabis, and Missael Mwanza, 23, who was found in possession of loose cannabis weighing 32.1 grammes.
“The two students pleaded guilty when they appeared before the Kabwe Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday,” she said.
The case comes up for mention today.
