THE Ministry of Higher Education has projected to raise K3 million every month from students who pursued studies through the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) since 2004.
The loan recoveries are starting this month.
Ministry of Higher Education public relations officer Chiselwa Kawanda said in an interview yesterday that the K3 million expected to be recovered monthly is sufficient for supporting over 100 students.
Ms Kawanda said in an interview yesterday that over 41,300 students from the University of Zambia (UNZA), Copperbelt University (CBU) and Robert Kapasa Makasa University have benefitted from the HELSB since 2004.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
