Students commend Government

THE Copperbelt University Students’ Union (COBUSU) has commended Government for embarking on the construction of 56 new hostel blocks at the Copperbelt University (CBU) and four other institutions of higher learning to create 3,669 bed spaces to alleviate the shortage of accommodation.
Government has allocated 18 hostel blocks to CBU, 26 to the University of Zambia (UNZA), while Mulungushi University and Evelyn Hone College have been allocated six each.
COBUSU president Peter Nyongani said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday that the construction of the new hostels is a good development for the university.READ MORE
