Strong marriages key, says Lungu

MACKSON WASAMUNU, Lusaka
PRESIDENT Lungu has implored couples to love each other and remain strong in marriage because solid families and stable homes are a prerequisite to a steady nation.
The President said strong marriages are key to the well-being of the nation.

In a speech read for him by Minister of Defence Davies Chama at a wedding ceremony for Masheke Siyunyi and Felistus Shito in Lusaka on Saturday night, President Lungu said Zambia cannot be strong if marriages are weak.

The President said couples should learn to communicate and love each other if they are to live in harmony.
