Stop violence, political leaders urged

MUCHINGA Province permanent secretary Bright Nundwe has called for the participation of political parties in stopping violence to ensure peace before, during and after the August 11 general elections.
Mr Nundwe said the violence that has been reported in various parts of the country must be stopped.
“When cadres know that their party leaders are not participating in political violence, they will always think twice,” he said.
Mr Nundwe said in an interview yesterday that every form of violence should be condemned regardless of the perpetrator’s political affiliation.READ MORE
