PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary general Davies Mwila has condemned the violence that erupted in Chawama during intra-party elections yesterday.
Mr Mwila said the intra-party elections are meant to strengthen the PF and not cause fights among candidates.
“We shall not condone indiscipline in the party. Our intra-party elections were never designed to weaken our in-built democracy but to strengthen it,” he said.
This is contained in a statement issued yesterday by PF media director Sunday Chanda.
Mr Mwila is disturbed by reports of clashes among party cadres in Chawama constituency.
