KELVIN MBEWE, Lusaka
STATE House is concerned that most foreign firms are not adhering to President Lungu’s directive to sub-contract 20 percent of their works to local companies as a way of empowering them.

Special Assistant to the President for Project Monitoring and Implementation Andrew Chellah said all foreign contractors have an obligation to follow the presidential directive.
Mr Chellah was speaking yesterday when he toured construction works, on Mungwi Road, Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway, Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka Specialised Hospital and Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
