State to build capacity to combat climate change effects

MINISTRY of Lands, Natural and Environmental Protection permanent secretary Trevor Kaunda says Government will continue to build capacity for citizens to enable them participate in programmes aimed at combating climate change.
Speaking when he officiated at the validation workshop of Zambia’s nationally-determined contributions to the Paris Agreement on climate change, Mr Kaunda said building capacity to adapt to effects of climate change must be prioritised to ensure that the expected results are achieved.
