GOVERNMENT is reviewing the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) Act, which once completed will allow the agency to engage in business ventures for profit under a public private partnership (PPP) model.

Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kasolo said once the Act is reviewed, FRA will also be allowed to buy trading stock of designated commodities for local and export markets.
Mr Kasolo said this in a speech ready for him by provincial agriculture coordinator Roy Lumamba at a provincial consultation meeting reviewing the Food Reserve Act 225 in Chipata recently.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
