State completes UTH road rehab

GOVERNMENT has completed rehabilitating 2.5 kilometres of roads at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka at a cost of about K11 million, UTH public relations manager Mwenya Mulenga has said.
Mr Mulenga said in an interview yesterday that no road in the hospital has potholes anymore and patients are able to move around with ease.
“Four years ago we thought we needed to come up with a programme to modernise the institution. But two years ago, we embarked on five major projects in which the rehabilitation of all roads that are fully done has been achieved under phase one,” he said.READ MORE
