Stakeholders question Church’s dialogue stance

NAKACINDA

STEVEN MVULA, Lusaka
VARIOUS stakeholders have opposed the Church’s stance to initiate its own national dialogue process without the involvement of the Zambia Centre for Inter-party Dialogue (ZCID).MMD national secretary Raphael Nakachinda says some church leaders are allegedly politically inclined hence wanting to sideline ZCID from the dialogue process.
Mr Nakachinda said in an interview yesterday that the church should instead accept or deny to play the role [of chairing the national dialogue] ZCID gave it instead of causing divisions.
The Church is represented by the three mother bodies: Zambia Council of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB), Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) and Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
