ZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) says effective engagement with relevant stakeholders is important in improving tax administration and development of responsive tax policies.
Commissioner general Kingsley Chanda said tax revenue is critical for any country’s fiscal fitness and sustained economic growth.
Speaking at a stakeholder engagement workshop yesterday, Mr Chanda said ZRA has appointed Sherwooodgreen as its tax agent for rental income tax.
“Taxes are important determinants of economic growth and effective tax administration can significantly increase economic and social welfare. Therefore, the role of tax agents in tax revenue mobilisation is very important.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
