Split Chilubi district into two

VILLAGE headmen in Chief Chitunkubwe’s area in Chilubi district have suggested that Chilubi constituency be divided into two, saying it is too large for Government and the area Member of Parliament to efficiently deliver development.
About 110 village headmen in Chief Chitunkubwe have endorsed President Edgar Lungu’s leadership and embraced the various development programmes being undertaken under his leadership.
During a meeting held with village headmen on Tuesday, headwoman Irene Chibuye called for the division of Chilubi district into two constituencies to ensure the area receives an equal share of national development especially through Constituency Development Fund (CDF)-funded projects.
